Two men are in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a semi crash closed Interstate 90 east of Billings. The semi was traveling westbound on I-90 near the I-90/I-94 interchange when the driver fell asleep. Munson said the driver attempted to correct the semi before it ran into the median, rolled one complete time, and blocked both the eastbound and westbound lanes on I-90. The semi was carrying oil field equipment from Texas to Canada's Alberta province. A passenger in the truck, who was in the sleeper berth portion of the cab at the time of the crash, was ejected. The driver was still inside after the accident. Both were taken to Billings Clinic with non-life threatening injuries. I-90, in both directions, was closed after the accident. I-90 eastbound towards Hardin was reopened by 11:00 a.m., but I-90 westbound, toward Billings, remained closed for several hours, as an overhang direction sign was knocked down by the semi blocked the roadway. One lane of eastbound traffic was allowed to reopen at around 1:00 p.m
