Trucking Accident Article:
A two-trailer semi truck hauling hazardous material burst into flames shutting down the highway I-70 but no injuries.
The incident happened at about 2 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway near Georgetown, a Colorado Department of Transportation. There were no reports of injuries. All but one westbound lane of the highway reopened about an hour later. Hazmat crews contained the materials, including corrosive and flamable materials, to the immediate area, said Trooper Heather Cobler The state patrol is investigating the accident and what caused the fire, which was limited to the cab and the first trailer All lanes were re-opened after 9 hours.
